Database selection: Click on one of the links above to enter a database.
Contents tab: Click to access the table of contents for the selected database.
Search tab: You can search an entire database for key words appearing in documents. You can also search a database or narrow your word search by using the selected categories displayed on the search form. After a selected search, results are displayed as a hit list of documents, which contain the search terms selected ("hits"). You can open the documents by clicking on their listing.
Results tab: At any time, you can click this tab to view the hit list from your last search.
Hit navigation: After opening a document, use the arrow keys and hit list box, located at the top of the screen, to navigate the hits in the opened document or to move to other documents on the hit list.
Page navigation: Once a document is opened, you can scroll through a maximum of 10 pages at one time. Use the arrow keys, located at the bottom of the screen, to navigate to additional pages. As an alternative, you can download the document for access to the entire document by using the "document fields" link at the top of the screen. In an opened document, click on the document fields link to display detailed information relating to the document, including the option to download the entire document.
Printing/Searching the downloaded document: To print a document, download the document using the document fields link, then print. You can perform word searches of the downloaded document by entering key words in the "find" box located at the top of the screen and hitting "enter" from your keyboard. Use the blue arrows, which appear to the right of the find box to highlight the next (or prior) key word in the downloaded document.
